RE: Record Store Day!

I think Soundgarden is pretty good. I am not enthralled with them like many others. Perhaps it is bias but I think that Temple of the Dog was much better. Chris Cornell has his moments.

Overall, there are other bands from that period that I like better. I have been thinking about seeing them when they come around this year because I may not get another opportunity, but I think that is a bad reason to go see a band, so I probably won't. I am taking my emotional pull to go to the newly added Newark, NJ Pearl Jam show more seriously, even though that would make an excessive 3 shows on this tour.

On topic and maybe a little off topic, I went back and got the Sharon Jones single "Money". I am officially hooked. Took one song. They are the awesomeness I was hoping for. Incredible song. Must go get everything Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, including Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings themed underwear after I just soiled myself.

FYI, no Newark show for me. Pulled up no doubles and only single tickets in the 2nd level. While I would take anything in the building if I had either a wealth of resources or no other tickets this year, I will remain excited for my 2 shows at Madison Square Garden.
