I was 18, heading off to college, and posting on a little known Pearl Jam message board. Little did I know that, thousands of posts later, I'd know all of your names and write/do podcasts for this site. Now, five years later, I'm out of school, and engaged.
Thank you kindly. Started planning the proposal about a month ago, got the ring a couple of weeks ago, and popped the question Friday. I'm still in school and without employment until next May, so we're leaning towards a summer 2012 wedding so that we have time to save up and accrue time off (she's a teacher, so summer is pretty much the only time it will work). But I'm incredibly happy.
so i was listening to some pearl jam while driving today and was thinking of the old gtw and missing it so I came here but looks like most people have left anyway congrats on the engagement matt!
