RE: We need more people here

Congrats, Haley! Me too!

"Watch the gap" in America...that why we still fall in them, because all we do is watch them then pay no mind.

Timmy? Is...it...really...you? Ha! Im supporting the Netherlands. So I'm pretty happy. Disappointed in Italy though. The World Cup has been fantastic, except that we're forced to drink Budweiser in most official public viewing areas.

If Holland win the World Cup I pocket £60...from my own sweepstake at work haha.  All legit though, pulled from a hat and everything (although I did fold the bits of paper up myself, so who knows if I knew what I was rummaging round for?).  Should be a good game tonight, hopefully with less cheating now that Suarez is suspended.  The thing that cracked me up about that handball was the guy in front of Suarez who had the same idea, but wasn't such a good keeper.

Same! We have a sweepstake at work and I pulled Netherlands (ooh pardon) as well, which was a happy coincidence for me. My winnings will be much less though. They were anything but convincing last night and I don't see them beating Germany or Spain in the finals, but I'm hoping. Cape Town of course was "discovered" and developed by the Dutch for 150 years before British rule and I'd say 98% of people in CT Stadium last night were behind them. We were gutted when Uruguay sent the last African team packing by cheating (they also were the only team to beat SA in the group stage). The city has been engulfed in a sea of orange. Cape Town is Dutch again and we'll be supporting Oranje when they march into Soccer City on Sunday.

So what else have you been getting up to?

Not much really.  Just work, and trying not to be such a dog hypochondriac.  Been working six day weeks since February, but I get paid double for Saturdays so it's all good (and I watch films all day as the boss isn't in).  I'm not in this weekend, so I'm hosting an alfresco drinking night in my back garden on Friday as it's pretty hot here.  We've been babysitting T's mum's puppy on Saturday nights for about a month, which is cool, but she's a little ****.  Every time I hear a whimper from another room I think '****, Bramble's hurt her' (she's only 13 weeks old), but when I run in she's hanging off his ear/eyelid/tongue and he's the one crying.  My dog is the biggest pussy in the park - he has a reputation for being the only male dog who stands still while getting humped (which happens a lot), and yesterday he got ****ed up by an 8 month old Border Collie whilst failing to retrieve his own ball.

Oh, and I've been playing Mario Galaxy 2, which is reminding me why I liked videogames in the first place.

Didn't realise you couldn't swear.  I'll watch my tongue.  She is a little **** though.
