he is a great story and a top-notch goaltender... Tuuka sdidn't really lose the job as much as Thomas just plucked it from him... and Bergeron is truly one of the most well-rounded players in the world... just a pleasure to watch...
So, who else has enjoyed Patrice Bergeron's actions after being snubbed for the All-Star team? Namely, scoring goals like it's going out of style.
I was there on Tuesday night for his hat trick the first time I've seen one in person in 17 years (Cam Neely vs. the Devils in 1994). I love that dude, and I like Joe McDonald's idea of making him co-captains with Zdeno Chara, a la Rick Middleton and Ray Bourque from 1985 until Middleton retired in 1988.
Hockey!

so a bloke named Nick tuned me on to Brad Marchand last season... i was skeptical because i was still riding my Vladimir Sobtka train... He couldn't have been more right...
He's a pain in the ass, kinda dirty, kills penalties, and has a nose for the net...
i still miss Sobotka and after the Savard-mess and with Seguin clearly not ready, i think Chirelli gave him away to St. Louis but Marchand is a player...
