The Black Keys review, for those interested, is on the way. I like to stagger these things, though, and I have big, big plans. HUGE plans! GINORMOUS PLANS!
Maybe not quite so giant. But I do have a plan, and you folks can see that next week. Rock on.
And Josh, I have to hand it to you, I don't think I could've even mustered up the energy to listen to a new STP album at this point. You're a better man than I.
As for the Stones, for reference sake, I did pull out my old vinyl copy of Exile for reference sake, and I've kind of been listening to both now for a solid week. It's been the first thing to knock the Black Keys off their lofty listening perch.

mmmm...I smell something good on the way for the Black Keys.
I really just found it hilarious that reading your review made me hungrier for the original. I got the Philly box set in the mail on Thursday, but was too busy this week to listen to it. That's the only thing that may supplant the Black Keys for a bit (that, and new releases by Tom Petty and the Roots that are forthcoming).
Thanks to life getting in the way... well, I just put the Black Keys review up. But there's a Black Crowes review from me, too! Double your Black "K-sound" band goodness.
