Courtesy of the Netflix queue, Slap Shot came in the mail the other day, and I finally got some time to sit down and take it in. Not just a classic, it gets my vote as the best sports movie ever, just ahead of Eight Men Out and 1,000 times funnier. Including when one of the Hansen brothers screams at the ref, during the Star Spangled Banner, "I'm listening to the ****ing song!," there's just killer line after killer line.

Oh, and as Rachel pointed out, Paul Newman looks the same now as he did in 1977. Crazy.
