A bit belated, but we here in Static Land recently had a first-time contribution from young Matt Berry, with his report on the Raconteurs' show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta recently.

So, with that, give a big 'ole hello to our buddy and fellow Pearl Jam-holic Matt. Hopefully we'll get to see more of his writing in the future.

I do hate the mixing on Binaural, and it is my least favorite Pearl Jam album, but that is one hell of an album cover.

In 2001 I made a cassette of the Binaural album with live versions of each song. That tape got a lot more miles in my car than the original album. The only song that didn't come off as well live was "Sleight of Hand," and "Of the Girl" just felt like a different song.

I'm pretty sure there's a reason they never worked with Tchad Blake again.
