The White Stripes have announced on their site that their sixth album, Icky Thump has been recorded and completed in Nashville. Billboard.com has reported it, though of course you could always read about it here, too.

Jack White, of course, spent just about all of 2006 with the Raconteurs, and now seems to be shifting his attention back to the Stripes. There's a tour in the works, too.
