OK - like most other pretentious music fans, I have a sinking suspicion that most anything I see on MTV is going to be bad. The Fratellis seem to half fit into that category. Their video is a decent concept but horrific execution, and their single strikes me as being a minute too long and repetitive. But they're opening up for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and I wonder if that means their other songs are redemptive. Does anyone have a solid opinion? Should I try and go later to the show or give them a shot?

Bonus points if you can tell me if their name is pronounced "Frat-ell-iss," like "trellis" at the end, or "Frat-ell-ees." Nick and I are in a debate.
