Oh sweet God, I spontaneously decided to see BRMC last night at the House of Blues in Boston, and... wow. I hope my crappy cell phone photos can tell the story until I'm able to write my review (I'd do it today, but it is Easter and, more importantly, opening day).
Setlist: War Machine Mama Taught Me Better Red Eyes and Tears Bad Blood Beat the Devil's Tattoo Love Burns Berlin Weapon of Choice High/Low Annabel Lee Aya Ain't No Easy Way Whatever Happened to My Rock 'N Roll (Punk Song)
First encore: Sympathetic Noose Shuffle Your Feet Conscience Killer Six Barrel Shotgun Spread Your Love Second encore: 666 Conducer Stop Shadow's Keeper Open Invitation
I need to make the effort to get to the front row more often. Though my ears hate me right now. And love me. It's a very weird dynamic.

I used to write it on my arm in sharpie, but these days since I carry a notebook with me everywhere, it's just as easy to track it in there. I have whatever composition notebook I'm on with me at all times, and if I'm going to a concert, I have a little black moleskine (no lines, thank you) in my back pocket for setlist purposes, and general note-taking. If you make it to Hartford for Pearl Jam, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I am tempted to go to Hartford, but I am afraid with the $380 I already spent on 4 tickets to the Garden (granted, the fiance is getting one ticket and the other was "traded" with my good friend for 1 Mets ticket and 1 Black Keys ticket in July), spending another $150 plus transport might get me divorced before I even get married.
However, I wish to be there if for nothing else to correct what was my worst Pearl Jam concert to date (the "let my friends dance in the aisles" show from 1998).
In the meantime, I guess I will see the famed book when I make it up to Boston sometime. You'll have to write the epic setlist of beers you, me and dtrain take down.
I've never tried it, but unless I am at a brewery (*ahem* the Sam Adams brewery one day) I don't tend to keep track since I usually stick to 2 different kinds in most situations.
P.S. If I remember correctly, deathstorm had pretty good taste in beer.
