I've had the album for some time now (SHH! DON'T TELL!), so I've had ample time to digest it. The two words that keep coming to mind are "Holy" and "Crap." It's amazing to see where their career has taken them. I'll hopefully get a review done this weekend, after I move to my new apartment and move my fiancee into hers and start an internship Monday. So yeah, on second thought, maybe it won't be this weekend.

I might add that Frank the Funkasaurus Rex is awesome! Also, the new video for Tighten Up is funnier than any of their other videos, I think...they are all pretty hilarious.
Just got back from seeing the Black Keys at Brixton Academy, Absolutely amazing gig, straight into my top 5. I remember a conversation on the old GTW site where pjcometoisrael couldn't see the appeal. Jesus Christ, see them live, they'll blow you away.
But really, they do put on an awesome show. I saw them in Central Park this summer (granted, like my 8th Black Keys so show I am biased), and it was probably the best of the bunch...which is also aided by the fact that they finally hit a 90 minute set.
In any event, the new album might still be the album of the year for me (stiff competition this year from an amazing Roots album, not to mention the Dead Weather's album this summer, which was pretty awesome as well).
I'll be buying an album or two by The Walkmen too, who supported last night, and get a hearty thumbs up. I was pretty much spoilt by incredible drumming all evening.
Will take a look at the link in the very near future.
I think it is interesting that in my current music listening moment, I'm okay with nothing much new right now. I will definitely give it a listen though, as most of the artists I've seen opening for the Black Keys have at least been pretty decent.
